Wheel Trims

Post by kentishvanman »

Hi,
Anyone used/tried/had success with wheel trim paint.
Just acquired some Caravelle trims that need refurbishing.
Some paint on the market requires a primer, others not so.
Thanks
Don

Use red scotchbrite to key the plastic, then holtz plastic primer, before paint.

Personally I would use an enamel paint, smoothrite or halfords enamel

I used some silver spray rattlecan paint on mine. I think it was for a Peugot.
Not perfect, but a big improvement on the previous.
