STEERING

Had to replace some parts in my steering column as it had become loose at the bottom this sorted the problem but my steering wheel wobbles after 20mph and is there upto 60mph
have been told tyres need to be balanced but not sure.any ideas

the steering was wobbeling like mad before parts replaced on steering column but inproved by 75%

Get your 2 fronts balanced?, then see if there is an improvement, what wheels do you have on it, steels?, alloys? might also want to check them for warping, dents from potholes first before getting them balanced jack the van up at one side, turn the wheel onto a hard lock so you can see the inside of the rim from the front, lie on the floor in front of the van and spin the wheel, you will see if the rim runs true or shifts in/out as it goes round its rotation, also check the tyre's haven't got any bulges while your at it.

what parts on the steering did you replace?

thanks had it checked out and i need to replace some of the bushes
