tyres probably a silly question

Post by onc onc »

Hi all just a quick one are all 205 70r 15 tyres the same diameter. Or are all terrain tyres larger than normal road tyres of the same size. Cheers.

Just wondering if I could get away with AT tyres on to 15inch with a -40 drop on the springs. Been told I would get away with 205 70r 15 but have seen this size in AT tyres as well as normal road tyres so wondered if they were all same diameter.

Hmmm, what's the sense of lowering a vehicle when you want to drive all terain tyres? I must be daft but I don't quite get it

Yep I know what you mean. However I lowered the van three years ago now and I have now moving on from that and am now looking for a different look and feel for the van. The missus keeps whinging about the cash that is being spent on it. Lol. However I need new tyres now so I thought now would be the time to go for the change .
