Re: rover p6 hubcaps?
Thanks key touch. I managed to grab a set of four for the princely sum of £10 on fleabay. A spot of nitromors to remove the black paint the po has daubed them in, some spit and metal polish and I'm very pleased with the results. I lost one of my standard moon disc vw hubcaps recently leaving me with three. They are too expensive to keep replacing. I know they are not be but they kind of suit the style and era. I'll be shopping around for some spares, just in case.

So how do you polish them up? I just used fine scotchbrite (grey colour)

Re: rover p6 hubcaps?
I just brought a set of these on ebay. Will the rover badges lift off or will they need to be nuked with nitromors?

The badges are domed discs of metal that are stuck on with some kind of bitumen adhesive. I just took mine off completely. Leaves two small holes but I can live with that.
