Hubcentric spacers

Post by boxer »

OK I've come by a set of steel bolt on hubcentric 20mm spacers. Free!

They are for an audit 57 mm. i think that they will fit onto the rear hubs of the T3 but only if I grind/cut off the hubcentric guide.

So the plan would be to turn them into flat bolt on spacers use the existing studs and nuts (or new nuts if the shape is wrong, either cutting the studs down or fitting new ( if needed) to fix them to the hub and the audi wheel bolts to fit the audi wheel to the spacer.

My thinking is that the wheelnuts/ bolts will pull up the wheel true anyway.

I would like to hear what others think in this subject. i.e. should I just bung them on the back of the A4?
