Eberspacher parts where to Buy?

Post by Davegrohl99 »

Hi guys.

I removed my Eberspacher today. I'm not sure of the exact model. My camper is a 1981 Aircooled Westy Joker. It's a petrol eberspacher that's as much as I know.
If anyone knows what model and where and what parts to replace that would be a great help. It's currently blowing cold air and I would like to replace as many parts as possible and get it back running safely.

Thanks!

I have tried to resurrect but the amount of rust in the case and condition of components leads me to believe it's not feasible to reconditioned the unit.

My next brain wave is one of these chinese diesel heaters.
I'm thinking of creating a box and utilising the brackets to attach it to the original bolts under the van. The next problem would be where to store the diesel tank and how to route the hot air into the cabin safely.

If anyone has any insight or has done this let me know?

It is usually easier to fit the heater inside in a cupboard or under the bed. Mount the tank where convenient, mines in the rear wardrobe you can then use red diesel or kerosene at 70p ltr.
