front door plastic

hi all the front door plastic why is it there noise \moisture?? if so why not the rest of the van and what is the best clear double sided tape to use for the van... hot,cold damp??
and what double sided tape to use to put van logo back on thanks :ok

If you mean the plastic behind the door cards, it's there as a moisture barrier.
I guess its on the doors due to the windows, seals can go bad and let water into the doors.

It’s there because the windows open , and a complete seal between the glass and the door can not be made , take it away and it’s bloody draughty ........
