Autosleeper Trident - 12v socket on camper control panel

Post by Fugeh »

I have an Autosleeper Trident, does anyone know which type of socket fits the 12v control panel that shows the water reading, etc?

I don't have any other sockets in the van and was hoping to use that one, but it seems to be a slightly different connection to a normal 12v (narrow and much deeper than a normal cigarette lighter socket.

Thank you in advance.

This is a connection for a type of socket that was popular in Germany

it's called a DIN socket, carries 12V and is more secure than the normal cigarette lighter sockets. I went on ebay and got a converter that has DIN male with a fly lead to normal cigarette lighter female.

It works well enough and I can use that for powering my 12V TV
