Fiamma bike racks
Hi guys. Having just been quoted nearly £500 for a tow bar on my van, I'm back looking for a Fiamma bike rack! Does anyone know if these are available new? Had a look online but can't find a supplier. I'd be looking to carry four bikes - is this even possible?! Thanks for any help.

You can buy a second hand tow bar under 100 quid fit it yourself easy enough. Fiamma bike racks squeak constantly, take the paint off the rear door and I think 3 bikes max, the weight of four bikes on your rear door will not be good for it.

Cheers mate. Genuinely had a look a while back and couldn't find anything. Guess that just makes me rubbish! The van has an after market exhaust system on from when the engine was converted and it is pretty low slung. Don't know if this is an issue, but this and a lack of knowledge/skills means I'm not keen to attempt this, particularly when you throw in the electrics. Thanks for your help.

Re: Fiamma bike racks
The Fiamma bike rack fits to the top and bottom of the tailgate so no issues with the exhaust and no electrics involved. The rack basically clamps on so no drilling required either and can easily be removed when not needed. The gas struts on the tailgate should be strong enough to hold the 'gate open with just the rack fitted but will not cope if you try to open it with bikes on.
Hope this helps.
