Sun canopy fixings

Post by asterix_the_gaul »

I have plenty of plastic tarps with metal eyelets in the corners, for about £12 you can get straight poles and guyline packs off fleabay, but how do you connect the edge Of The tarp to the van to make a sun shade? Can anyone post a link to a clip to connect the eyelets or tarp edge to the gutter rail or is there another way of doing it?

Get inventive with bungee cords! We hook one to each end of the gutter rail, then to the corners of the tarp

I’ve got a ‘fresh’ tarp from Decathlon https://www.decathlon.co.uk/tarp-fresh- ... 00081.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; then l sewed a tube in one side and use pole and clamp set on the gutter. Works a treat
Before I got the ‘fresh’ one I had the khaki one. So now I’ve sewed on Velcro to both tarps and can use the khaki one as a wind break, and it gives me more poles to boot
