Water tanks pump suggestions
I've recently bought a 1980 t25 t3 which I'm working on. It looks like the previous owner has taken the water system out but the sink and tap are there with a pipe outlet that leads to the outside of the bus. Could any body offer any advice in what I would need to get the water connected, I've looked at the tanks and foot pump but not sure if I would have to wire something in, any advice would be most welcome, thanks:)

Re: Water tanks pump suggestions
You have a couple of options. Both use a jerry can or similar for the fresh water which you just stick under sink:
1. Manual foot pump. Exercise you thighs! Quite old school! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Whale-GP4618-C ... B003ELUZHK
2. A 12v submersible whale pump operated either by a microswitch tap or a push button (doorbell) on the cabinet somewhere. Plenty of people on fleabay selling what you need: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plumbing-Kit ... 3370121822. This will need wiring in. Normally the water pump will be on its own fuse (3 or 5 amp) wired back to the leisure battery with an isolating switch if there is a microswitch tap.
The dirty water drain to the outside. You can keep a separate waste water container for campsites to pour away in the grey water. (don't muddle them up!)

Hi Phinw,
Thanks for all your help it's very much appreciated It makes much more sense now, I'll most likely go with the submersible pump option and wire it up to the leisure battery

Most serious campers have an under slung water tank ... ours is about 50 litres.
