Awnings and roof curvature

Post by Bigmeeky »

Happy Easter Sunday folks,

just got a quick query. We purchased a Caravantore 2.8m awning second hand to put on the van and some awning rail to go with it. When I offer the rail up towards the front of the van there is a fair amount of curvature and gaping. Now whilst the awning rail itself will easily flex to close the gap but just not sure how the awning in a bag would perform?

Any advice or tips would be more than welcome. The van is a high top Karisma circa 1990.

thanks

Rob McM

It went up ok, drilling into your hi top is always a bit of a "what am I doing moment", but all on, looking forward to the summer!
