Electrolux rm122 fridge

Post by neil1967 »

Good Morning

I have a Rm122 Electrolux fridge and I've
only just noticed that it has a dip stick
on the back.....can anyone tell me what's
it for as I've never checked it.

Many thanks Neil

That made me laugh. It's a heating element for when you switch to either 12V or 240V.

Hello Captain.... a heating element but it's
exactly like a dipstick with a metal tag at the
end and it fits in a tube which you can take
it out of.

Thanks

I don't know then - are you able to post a picture or point to where it is here?

Hi guys, I have am RM212 which has a "flue baffle", I don't understand how this really works by from the manual it says the following - FLUE BAFFLE The flue baffle must be in position in the central tube of the boiler, over the burner, suspended on its support wire so that the lower edgeof the baffle is 75mm (3 inches) above the bottom of the tube. If thebaffle is missing or incorrectly located, the cooling unit will notoperate properly on bottled gas.

You can find the manuals with a quick Google search.

Cheers.

Good morning

Thanks Captain and Colin I've finally found
out what it is.
I went online and read the manuals and is a
flue baffle as mentioned by Colin and item 1
in the Captain s diagram.
I'm just glad that I don't have to check any
levels as to me it still looks like a dipstick.

Thanks once again
Neil
