Older Reimo pop-top problems
The struts that hold the roof on our van up have been gradually getting worse and worse, to the extent that rather than compress the gas struts that hold the roof up they prefer to just bend and send the roof sideways. My question is, does anyone have experience in solving this problem? At the moment I can only see three solutions, one getting new struts custom made (which I fear will be rather expensive), sourcing original ones which I feel I maybe a few years too late to be able to do, or hooking up struts that don't specifically belong to the roof but can be used anyway.
Suggestions?

Re: Older Reimo pop-top problems
Hello,
You have a problem..no longer attached at the rear.. so the side bars are twisted..
I have recently ordered a pop top from Reimo in Germany.
https://www.reimo.com/de/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They have a good website, and just about all spares are available, of their own manufacture..
or
may be right
200 or 270 €.
Best thing is to phone or e mail them. You will need the model number (eg 20200) Germans speak good English..
Hope this helps..
Cordialement
