Alternative to curtains ?
Currently relining throughout on my 87 Autosleeper conversion.
Thinking of putting something different up instead of pull curtains on hooks and rail. I'm not sure of what alternatives are out there in the market place.
Any suggestions much appreciated
Cheers

Re: Alternative to curtains ?
No decent alternative that I could find for my Autosleeper.

I cut the rubber mats (kids safety flooring stuff) to the window sizes then just wedge in at night. Very warm and store fine in the high top during the day.

Re: Alternative to curtains ?
When I had a T4 Caravelle I used a set of thermo insulating window mats which were convenient and easy to attach/ remove (and have uses both in winter and summer). My T25 has curtains, which make it a bit more 'cosier' but I still use window mats, when parked at home to prevent UV damage to the interior.

Re: Alternative to curtains ?
We are getting 'curtains' made, but they attach with poppers instead of a curtain rail.
I had seen it in a T5 Reimo conversion and liked it.
It means the 'curtains' are tight against the bodywork and let in minimal light.
In the cold we will still use the internal JK thermal sucker ones.
Obviously the downside of using the poppers is that you have to drill holes in your van, but i dont care about stuff like that.

Re: Alternative to curtains ?
I imported some magnetic blackout covers from Franchers https://fanchers.com/shop?olsPage=products" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in the states.They stick to the outside of the van.Like Bene we use thermal sucker ones then its not so warm outside.And a wrap around for the windscreen and front doors from http://www.silverscreens.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Alternative to curtains ?
Limo tint works a treat (& looks cool - especially against our metallic grey paintwork
We've also got black curtains on runners (as had before the tint).
& Rainbow blinds wrap around external blind on the front / side door windows (with sleepy eyes - of course
Helps keep a 4yr old asleep until past dawn
I'm sure i've seen horizontal blinds used on side door & rear hatch
