Aftermarket poptops

Post by ZsZ »

Hi all!
I have no luck finding a westfalia poptop locally so started searching in bigger circle.
Found out that there are new repros made in UK.
I found two companies with a bit different looking products.
Poptoproofs: http://www.poptoproofs.co.uk/shop/produ ... p?id=30350" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Spaceroofs: http://www.spaceroofs.co.uk/type-25-elevating-roof.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Are they good or keep searching for original ones? Which is better quality? Or they are the same but the pics are from different development stage?
Any info would be helpful.
THX!

Not seen either fitted, but as far as I'm aware, they are two separate companies/products, hence the Space roof not having the side windows etc. Space is just down the road from me, so have been meaning to go down and visit at some point, but not got round to it yet I'm afraid :)

There's also Reimo, who will still make roofs to order:

Thanks!

IMO spaceroofs one looks better and more original as the opened angle is higher. I know the Reimo ones too, but the Westfalia look is more fancy ;) And its cheaper too. (~£2300 vs ~£2600)
And I have a Mosaik Joker strenghtening frame and bed already so it might work with the original looking ones. I asked them already if it fits.
If you ever get down pls share your opinion :ok
