So has anyone replaced theirs ?
400 x 400 ?
i'm looking for a low profile one rather than the current domed effect.
Any recommendations ?
thanks Jim

Re: Devon Moonraker roof skylight
Hi,
I measured the roof aperture as 14" x14" on ours and I had the same issue with trying to get it into a std garage with a replacement vent ( they are available with a metal frame). Our van came to us with a perspex solid panel in place of the vent but it did get very hot up the top and there was no way of airing it to get rid of the condensation. My answer was to fit a slightly smaller second-hand deck hatch from a boat. It had an alloy frame with an option to lock it on a trickle vent, I had to cut an adaptor plate from a sheet of perspex to get it to fit. You will have to keep an eye out on eBay for a second-hand hatch unless you are feeling flush, it is a marine item..... Think ours is a Lewmar size 10 (10"x10") low profile with a self supporting lid. Lawmar do sell spares for the hatches but again they are not cheap.
The vent/hatch probably stands about an inch above the roof level and you can leave it on the trickle vent when driving without the rain coming in.
