Fridge lock

Post by John Riley »

Hi, I've just purchased a 1988 Autosleeper, Trident. Just a couple of small jobs to do. One is the fridge has the lock missing. I've attached a pic of the unit, does anyone have an idea what sort of lock is needed and where I could get one from.
Still finding my way around this great site, and my lovely van.

Many thanks all. Great answers from where to buy the part, to great alternatives.
We are having our first trip away next weekend, that should tell me what I need.

Mine was missing when I got the van so I fitted a small brass shot bolt gismo so I can lock the fridge closed while on the move.
I also made an offset device similar to the holding the back door open a tad for those hot summer nights gadjet  so that I can hold the door a shade ajar when the fridge is not in use.
BTW Golf! A good walk spoiled
