No worse than the Welsh mountains in winter - used to sleep out rough with just a sleeping bag . No fancy things like tents. I just don't see the need for heat when you are tucked up, just a waste of energy. When it hits -10 at night I may shut the window a little.

I used my van for accomodation four days a week with hook up all year, during the winter I had two fan heaters when temps dropped below freezing plus thermal window matts. Marvelous being warm as I hate the cold and to hell with the noise but they had thermostats which most do, yeah, I'm a softy.........??
