Trumatic E 1800 Heater

Post by T25Kernow »

Hi I've got a Trumatic E1800 installed in our Westfalia. I think it was a later add on rather than a factory install. Its fitted in the bottom of the wardrobe under a false floor. I've had it running and heating ok but it currently has no flue attached! So I haven't run it for long!

Has any one else got one installed or a picture of what the flue looks like? Or what the correct wall cover looks like?

I've got a copy of the manual but cant find any spares on line for it are they available? or is it just a case of keeping an eye on ebay?

Thanks Ross

Hi I have one too, if you haven't yet got yours sorted I just bought some of the very expensive exhaust ducting from Germany. Only place I could find it.
There's more than I need I think so happy to sell it on at cost, I also have a fairly corroded but probably mendable wall flue plate if that helps? In Launceston or could post.

Exhaust is standard 22mm by the look of it - no need to buy from Germany just use Webasto exhaust. Easily available in the UK.

Hi all
I'm looking for exhaust flue for a Trumatic E1800....
My sizes are 22mm id for the inner & 45mm for the outer....
The above states that the Eberspacher or Webasto will fit, but that's 24mm ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated ...
Many Thanks
Dave

Webasto Air Top 2000 uses 22mm, 3500 and above uses 24mm. Post is correct!
Use Polylock for 45mm like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Ex ... SwWMhffaH4

Many Thanks for your reply....And link....
Sorry it wasn't sooner....

I tested it on a bench, without any flue attached... It works fine, though a little bit noisy.... Any advice how to quieten it down?

I'll go ahead & buy the parts for the flue....
Once again, sorry for late reply....
Cheers
Dave
