Hi all,
The waterpump in my van is showing signs of age.. sometimes it simply refuses to work...
I've disconnected the old watertank underneath the van and now feed it from a plastic bladder in the cupboard where the pump is..
Sometimes lifting the waterbag helps.. sometimes it doesnt..
So I'm looking at a replacement pump.
I found this one: http://www.justkampers.com/01216b01-fia ... -pump.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but found the £80 a bit steep..
So started looking on eBay for altenatives..
There are quite a few..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAILFLO-12V-3 ... 2558075676" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-DC-High-P ... 2042294450" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-17L-min-4 ... 2258850385" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-DC-160Psi ... 1927338254" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-DC-115Psi ... 2063852298" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What kind of power/flow rating would make sense? since the tap is only a small diameter (6mm?) a big pump with massive flow seems overkill..

I have used these:
Search for submersible water12v dc pump for caravans & motorhomes
for as long as I can remember although you do need a plugged couple of inch diameter aperture/pipe down which to lower it into the tank. This is easy if you make/configure your own water tank but can be tricky as a retrofit.
I carry a spare but have never had to use it. K.I.SS principle approved.
