What conversion is my new/old T25 is ?

Post by Hdog13 »

Just brought my first VW T25 camper !!!! and i know very little about them !!

Dont know what conversion it is ! Is there an easy way to find out ? Spent some time trawling the net but nothing definitive.
Its a hi top 1.6 td K reg 93
Thought might have been a holdsworth but from what i can find they stopped making them in 1990 is this correct ?

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated

Put a picture up someone should recognize it
Holdsworth usually have built plate under the dash.

Must have been held in stock for a while unregistered somewhere. Or an import and someone took a guess at what the foreign reg documents said.

You have me concerned now !!!
Just looked through all the paper work I have and from that it was built in 1990 according to chassis reference but not registered till Jan 93 !! Is this normal ?
Also was there a conversion company called euromotor ?

No reason why it cannot happen. Vehicles didn't have to be registered immediately after import years ago - things may have changed since my days with imports though.

There was a company called Euro Motor (EMC) that did conversions including T25 which I think went out of business a few years ago.
