Pull out awning/tarp

Post by Gillski »

My high top has a gutter full of sealant so it is not possible to attach an awning to it. Generally I don't want to add a tent-type awning but I often do want some shade or to put a rain cover over the door. Some of these tarps look quite good but I haven't actually seen one in action over a T25 High Top. I know I could put an attachment to the roof but I'm not keen on drilling into it as I have enough leaks already!

Any recommendations? :?:

Hi
I use a tarp from decathlon. I throw the guy ropes over the bus and peg the other side or you could clamp to your gutter. It comes with poles that you then support the tarp with and peg out those guy ropes. I also bought extra poles to make it more versatile

+1 for the decathlon tarp. I've put guy ropes over the van previously (but protect the paint where they touch). Now I attach to the gutters with clamps and a cheapo plastic plumbers pipe from bandq.
