Fresh water tank cleaning question

Post by Born Too Late »

Hi

when I bought my van last June there was some water sitting in the fresh tank, the previous owner said he hadn't used it for years. If I give it a couple of doses of puriclean will that be enough to make it safe to drink from? Or is it worht investing in a new tank and pipes etc?

many thanks

I used the puriclean in mine and drained and refilled it a couple of times, after driving it full up though it has stirred up some particulates so I think I will replace or fit a new inline filter. Though it should be safe.
