Eberspacher D2L - Refurbishment

Post by Bison535 »

I have looked in Wiki (some good info!) and searched through the Forum ( good info there from 2005 etc, all still relevant )
My Eberspacher was disconnected when I bought the T25 - 1990 so I have never had it operational. Like all jobs on a T25, once you have completed a task the second time round is usually straightforward, so :-
Can anyone recommend a Garage/Person/Contact who could re-connect/check wiring and refurbish my Eberspacher D2L :?:

I doubt that you will find anyone in Gibraltar ( جبل طارق - jebel taariq) - you won't find anyone in the UK most probably, it is a case of diy following guides, peoples write ups of their work and the manual. It is a 20 - 30 year old heater that is no longer supported by Eberspächer with spares extremely thin on the ground.
This is the best option: ( pm me if you are interested in a replacement)

Ahhha, as I thought, its a long distance job, even Simon Baxter could not help. Thanks to all, i will just have to remove my Heater Unit and study the available info in due course.

Thank you. :) :)
