Great stuff !!! :ok

That give me confidence that my fittings should be OK?

You have gone for the same cover as mine (all ready to be fitted).....

Great stuff. Your brass looks fab! I also noticed that one of your valves has a red insert where as mine is plugged. Should mine be open to atmosphere like yours? So that our can relieve any excess pressure?

The valve you mention is the over fill/pressure release valve.
The idea is that if the pressure reaches the threshold it will be released via this valve instead of blowing up like a bomb!!!
It should have the red plastic cover (stop it getting dirt etc.. in) which will be blown off/apart if the valve ever activates?
Mine looks like it has been missing for years? - Yours is correct.

Did your new cover fit OK?
Purchased mine from CVC but I needed to elongate holes etc.. to make it fit!
(not CVC's fault - the pipe from the regulator/valves that goes though the new cover and then bends before connecting to the bottom of van floor fitting was apparently originally made by hand so differ slightly?)

Thanks for that. It's good news.
Mine also from Jed. I ground the part of the cover which fouled the fittings rather than elongate the holes so that it's position relative to the tank didn't change. Wasn't much but enough to stop it fitting. I've still got to get the steel pipe made as mine is corroded but not leaking yet!
