I knew I had read this somewhere in the past, been thinking of doing the same since I found out the panels are filled with fiberglass insulation. No major rust holes, but one area was really damp, so got off luck I hope

Regarding the vapour barrier do you just install this on the back of the door cards?

It needs to be stuck to the metal to seal off the cavity.
