Hi Top Roof Advice Needed Please

Post by Van Camperveld »

Hi All
I have a hi top roof and all down the guttering on the driver's side there is tape covering a split in the gutter (presumably a makeshift repair by the previous owner).
On closer inspection the hi top seems to be split along most of the length of the van - the hi top moves inwards when you press it.
Is this easily repairable?
There appears to be no water or leaks inside the van from along the roof - the inner head lining is dry and clean with no water stains etc.
Is this something that I can seal, or even use fibre glass strips to repair?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have searched to forums but am either using the wrong terminology or can't find the answer to my question.
Many thanks
Dave
