Can anyone help me please. 8 years ago I lined my hightop roof with cowprint material. I ended up with two types of material from different suppliers. One started to fail within the year - the black faded and the 'fur' started to fall out. The other is still there now as good as the day it was put there.
The one that's lasted has a slightly short pile than the other, also it has a slightly glossier coating. When the material is bent and twisted the base can not be seen - one the crappier material the base can be seen.
My question is I haven't a clue what the two materials are. I've looked on Amazon - I've found Polyester Veloboa. Could this be the material used for both of my samples but both are of varying quality? Is the density gsm the key figure?
