I got a few progress pics of the planned structural "enhancements". The "twin 40" rock slider sills have already gone in, the secondary inner sills are my idea to improve bodyshell torsional stiffness (can't do any harm on a twin slider) and the nice little details like the drainage slots are courtesy of Gary.
Very pleased.ImageImageImageImage

Now I don't want to get you lot all flustered or alarmed, but a recent conversation involved the words "booked" and "paint" in regard to the near future.

Thought you might have changed your mind with all that talk of camouflage, and what with Demonstrators having to draw attention, you must have some serious 'Bling' in mind.

I'd rather that the cognoscenti have to make a double-take ;)

A surprise result today: 80-90 express down from Yarkshuh brought me some wbx engine protection, but not quite as expected...
Very early version with the big bashplate, no oil filter guard and parallel where it runs under the engine, so can be easily "stretched" for the wbx6 with the correct sized tube (should have some on the way if my luck holds out)

Thanks to Jason and Russel for the positive i.d.

It cleaned up nicely, quite why the sump drain access hole has been hacked about I dont know. Easily sorted though.ImageImage

At least that's sorted now.

Any leads for the elusive 30mm x 40mm steel tube would be most welcome.

I thought it was the same as the 1/2 bulkhead cross-tube at the top?ImageImage

I have a piece of tube which I probably won't be using now as I think I'm going wbx2.5

only trouble is I found I have let people have (or used to fix customer's vehicle when they've been here or at the garage) bits of the wbx intake as I thought I was going scooby and changing to left side intake, so I think I need wbx syncro plastic plate that covers the void behind the right lights and the joiner to the intake down pipe and the cyclone

just stripped Edna's LPG system to provide spares to someone on here, that's when I found I taken off the intake stuff and that mice had been nesting in the air filter box  , thankfully there's a steel mesh in the middle of the filter so they hadn't got any further into the engine

Well if you've got a bit of the tube, I (only) need two pieces cut 115-120mm long?

Plastic intake blanking plate for efi... I might just have one of those, not sure about the joining piece...I have got a cyclone housing but its had the internals removed :/

Part numbers?
