Syncro Fuel tank - fuel return pipes

Postby Jim San » 25 Feb 2018, 21:21

Whilst bleeding the clutch after replacing the clutch master cylinder, Winchweight spotted the fuel return lines were leaking diesel !!

They are the rubber braided type and I think they are at the end of their life.

What pipe do I replace it with. I'm a bit confused by the descriptions on BW.

This is the stuff I have but it states not to be used in hot engine bays (fair enough)

This is stuff I was expecting to use, better quality etc, but it doesn't state diesel - just bio-diesel! Is it the right one?

Bio diesel hose is the stuff to use, its resistant to the ethanol content of current fuel.
