Plastic coolant feed pipe replacement

Postby syncroandy » 19 Jul 2017, 20:39

The front end of the coolant feed pipe on my pickup is goosed. I've been running with an extra clip and slight weep for years, but I want to get it fixed for good. So I have a NOS pipe to go in. Any tips ?

Summary of replies on FB:

Winchweight: Yes, it's pretty easy.
Silverbullet: First fix component, pretty well. There is probably a knack to fitting them and they may well need springing.
Two-post lift job.
Baxter: It's a mare on 2wd, syncro is a piece of pi$$!
Russel: They are no problem at all to do.

So, on balance the replies are encouraging and I think I should tackle this job. I'll report back as and when..
