Yes we love the double cab, works well with the kids, the seats are waaay comfy too.
Its hiiiigh up, I dont need it that high, but its probably ok, if I can drop the tow hitch...
Lovely ride though good spring and damper mix, was worried about that.

Off came the tent from the back straight away,
too obstructive visually and too high to drive into the workshop.
Not sure about the future of that.

What else..
I think it will be going into the body shop very soon.
not really been welded before I think, but too valuable to let it rot.
the rot stops now!

Thanks to Dan Hotpod for going to pick it up for me.
I think he rather enjoyed the drive. Good man!

I would post up pictures but I was using photo*uckit,
what are we using now and will it be future proof?
Are we being blackmailed?

Woohooo anyway, back in a syncro, great!

You would be most welcome to it but I dont think its what you want,
its the "tilt", the pickup cover, quite a big sturdy affair, metal frame, tall roughly cube shape.
Could be useful to me in the future if I re-made it to suit me, but not at the moment.

The 16" ?!!!
Are you keeping the van too?
Do you still use the little cara van?
We have a tiny one but I think it needs a whole new axle under it,
and bigger knobbly wheels, and stairs to climb in...

The camper has been spending some time at the welders and is happier now.
Ordered some paint, will be hand painting it ongoingly.
Its the same pastel white as the Tristar so thats handy.

When I collected it, could only get fourth on a long level stretch,
I had heard that JX was underpowered, and with the big wheels on..
but just back from diesel specialist and its actually nippy.
holds fourth up a fair hill now!

Looking good for Syncropendence!

Hope to get it booked in to Station Garage while we are there,
to free up the stiff difflocks.
Not being used for a few years so the diff and gearbox has to come out.

Meanwhile any free time will go into the interior,
electrics, swivel seats, upholstery, fridge ...creature comforts.
