New orders for SA stainless aux tanks

Postby ianf » 27 Mar 2017, 15:46

I have a couple more people who have asked so I'm opening this up again for another round of orders. We had a bit of a learning curve the first time with regards to import regulations and costs but we now have the exact procedures and total expenses.

46L tank £250
58L tank £300
Optional Mounting kits £115
Shipping £65/tank for a pallet of 10 tanks
Import duties and VAT £55

The tanks will be delivered to Ben in Gillingham, Kent and he will arrange for collection or courier.

Let me know who is keen.

Ian

Hey Ian,
Definitely worth posting this where the 2WD drive folk will see it too....
They are a great addition to any T3 / T25, keeping the weight of extra fuel/ water down as low as possible.
Im not really sure where though. Maybe in General Chat or the For Sale section.
Somebody else will have a better idea.
cheers
Ben

Not installed the tank yet, but it's a well made tank, good welds etc, with a good quality installation kit. Very pleased. :ok

Hi Rich

The link is correct but the whole thread appears to have been deleted. Why, I'm not sure? Anybody know anything about this?

I'm sorry about that. I'll post some more details here when I get a chance tomorrow.

Sorry guys I've been busy with some other projects but I'm back onto this and will see if we can get an order together and get going with this.

I'm not sure what happened to the original thread but I'll just post the pics up here again.

Just some pics of my own Syncro. You can just see the tanks protruding beneath the level of the sills, as well as the additional filler and the tap on the rear bumper. I also manufacture the ladder and jerry can holder.

There are a few ways to do the plumbing to fit these tanks in a 2WD but one of the easiest is to use a dual filler which we also make. 304 stainless and includes a new VW filler cap.
