Propshaft,who's tried both?

Morning all,who's tried both types of Propshaft? Was one better?

Well..I got a reply from Lloyd ( on Facebook ) who has tried both and said that the one with the sliding bit in it was/ is much smother,the one fitted by VW still had vibrations at different speeds!
So I've gone for the shaft with the slideing bit in it ( there is a proper name for it but...)
Will report back when I've fitted it.

Have/had both... had new joints fitted to the OE one and then it developed vibes !!! being 10 mins from lands end (kernow) i don't know of anybody around us that could balance/check it ... So i bought the telescopic one from syncrospares in Devon. Its been on now for 8/9 years at least and has sorted out the vibe ... HAPPY DAYS :ok
in too deep to quit now....

Old thread, but just to add my thoughts. Having used a standard prop and now using the sliding joint version, the slider (mines from Brickwerks) is very smooth in operation and more importantly to me it is super easy to install and remove.
