1987 Holdsworth Vision Syncro Magazine Review

Postby DaveyP2004 » 01 Nov 2016, 10:56

Hi Chaps,
I just added a 1987 Magazine Review for a VW T3 Holdsworth Vision Syncro to my Holdsworth Camper Info Website ;-)

http://holdsworth.vwt25camper.info/06_1 ... viewWM.pdf

Checked on DVLA webpage and this vehicle is declared SORN but was MOT’d up to June 2016 so hopefully it is still alive - maybe someone on here owns it ? REG No. D132CBD ;-)

Cheers,
Dave

An enjoyable article. I was interested in the comment about driving with the front diff-lock on - power steering seems to make it do-able? Also, the comment about 'sportscar performance' raised a smile. Still, £20,000 was a lot of money back then.

Hi Dave
Yes it is still alive though looks a bit different now. It's had a full body resto and is in Marios for a TDI conversion, should get it back in a few weeks. Will find some pictures to post.
Love the article.
Cheers

My syncro has a holdsworth villa interior fired now...it's been somewhat updates and still needs a few finishing touches but it is much better than the reimo one it replaced and is comparable to a westy one in my opinion..I have deleted a few Windows though...I admit they would be handy...but less leaks without.
