Syncro registry Submissions.

Postby Simon Baxter » 04 Oct 2016, 20:10

Okay.
One one of those "wish I'd never bothered moments" but hey ho.
I said I would do this every now and again, after spending about an hour trying to log back into to site here's some stats.

Out of the influx of a total of 7 people that could be arsed to submit their data we have..

14% 16" Syncro
86% 14" Syncro

43% Pick ups
57% Van bodied.

28% DG engines.
43% TDI
14% DJ
14% AAZ
1% lost in can't be bothered doing the sums properly.

Earliest syncro belongs to Angus, the youth from work, probably that pile he bought that he's now chopped up.
Latest syncro belongs to Lloyd.

I did intend to do this a bit ago but there was a lot of mass debateing going on about this and that so I decided I would wait until it got going a bit...just been on now to have a go at submitting my info and vin number is a mandatory field...so it will be another time...I'm inside with flu...vans outside and it's dark.

done, I appreciate what you did Simon, once I sat down with my work computer it was ok,
the fangled phone concept may have put folk off, I hate trying to do stuff on the phone,

on another note, my data sticker has normal info on it,(top half) Chassis number , model type, colour, but completely blank M codes

I did try this a while ago, but it wouldn't save the data.

I'll try again maybe tomorrow once I have the VIN to hand.

Just spent 10 mins deleting all the spam submissions.

Oldest T3 Syncro - Ben & Cathy Wetherden with their double cab.
Youngest T3 Syncro - Peter Chimes 14" Kombi.

More '86 model year than anything else.
14 submissions, one 16"
2 twin sliders, very close on the VIN, about 4k apart.
Only one '87, least popular year.

How do.
This domain has come up for renewal, going to let it lapse unless someone wants to take it on?
I no longer have the time nor inclination to persue it.

One for the archiving ultra-nerds.

Maybe it just came along too late, just as everyone FO to facebook?

Yep, I'll get the site deleted and let the domain lapse.
