Thanks guys :)

Roof was done by Paul at Space roofs, top bloke long drive form mine but worth it, respray was done up here in Norfolk by a small company that normally dose Trucks, and vintage randoms.

Learning the stresses of Matte paint the hard way takes alot to keep it looking ok, but helps with the military look.
been busy trying to get things ready for busfest.... sooo much still to do but hey none of these things are quick to sort.

trying to get the interior sorted is proving to be a big job, im a roofer by trade so having to learn all this stuff from scratch but shes coming along slowly.

Sound deadened the front doors today, from bakebean tin to "sounds like a golf ;) "

Im on Instagram as @sandsmooreontour few pics of the work todate on there. :)

Did Space Roofs fit a roof you already had or a new one they provided?

I really like the paint job also planning to have the bottom of mine in black, its a nice look

I'm about to start my interior soon, sound deadening, insulation etc etc, before the westy interior refit

be good to catch up some time and see your van in the flesh

Hello,
been a while since i last posted on van, been loads going on with the build where now living in her full time. Photo was taken on our tour up on the Scotland North coast 500. Had an awesome drive around entire coast line west and east with no problems. Applecross pass at 2045ft was a bit hairy at dusk but proper good fun. Campout on mountain top in the clouds to stags barking was unforgettable.

Nice looking syncro, we did the 500 wild camping all the way round in August camped just over the top of Appecross, what a climb! We were only in the Aircooled 2wd not the syncro. Our only problem was the lack of lpg filling stations in the far north east!!

Built all the cabinets myself from scratch, opted for the trambour doors to help save space when opening up units. Really happy with the finish, added 240, usb and 12v in several places to help with connectivity. Diesel heater has been a god send for the winter. Next project is fitting a wraparound Tufftrek awning.
