There is the option to upload stuff.
Do you want some log in details Andy?
Have a poke about and see if you can get a bit further than I have?

Another thought. Perhaps some of the issues I mentioned above might be mitigated by making the registry accessible to registered Syncro club members only, with a login for editing and access. I'd be a shame to exclude the wider community, but if this a UK register anyway perhaps that's not such a big deal.

PS. Si you have a PM cheers.

There needs to be a means for the current keeper to log in and amend the data relevant to their vehicle only, at least that way the database has a chance of being vaguely current and relevant (hence my suggestion of using the hidden partial VIN as a password, only the holder of the V5C should have this info)
The the rest is up to the owners.

I can get the vin of any uk registered vehicle by entering the reg into the dvla web site..

Ok so no that secure when the motor trade are involved ;)

In the cold light of day, the simpler the register the better.

Ignore the stripey bit, go for the thing with the drop down menu at the bottom.

Simon,
not clear in your post whether this was for general access and comment or only to specific people. Anyhow, I get a message saying I do not have permission to access this page.

thanks

Got in this time, thanks, Simon.

One observation - JX not showing under original engines. That's what I intended to enter for mine even if no-one else has.

Hi, in one of the replies Mr Baxter talks of the original delivery book, I still have mine from when it was purchased, it is headed up as Vehicle Data, with loads of numbers and letters.

I can copy it if it helps.

It's in the list and people have selected it so unsure why you can't see it.
Can you take a screen shot?

Few niggles fixed.
Reg number should be now all capitals.
Radio buttons now should be aligned to the centre of the text.

Still doing bits and bats but trying to do it amongst work/kids/dog/house stuff

Looks like there is a plug in to allow people to register and log in, just asking now if it's possible to E D I T the data you've submitted..

Few nips and tucks, photo upload field added.

I think to get over the editing your data problem I think I'll just add another form to notify changes and I'll just have to E D I T them manually.
I'll removed the "Scrapped" field and put a simplified form up for that with less required fields

I'll give it a few more days and I'll delete everything, would be nice if a few of you tried it again and see if the run though is any better and add a picture for me.
:)
