Sounds good, feel free to pop By if you're passing heading up to proper Scotland to get eaten by midgies!
You can't be far away from finished now looking at you're progress?
I'm glad I haven't done a camping interior yet otherwise it would never be finished.

I picked the syncro up today from it's winter storage, all I need now is the salt and snow to go away and I can start using it again.
After the final list of jobs has been finished off.Image

One of the last jobs to be done which I had been avoiding was a set of front to rear water pipes, as always the ends had poped on the old ones.
Now I can get the prop bars and rear bash plate put back on and it's about time to go and use it rather than work on It.Image

Thanks Ian, I have ruined it tho now I'm scared to use it!
I should have covered the underside in black dinitrol and used it, as it was supposed to be my new dailly driver not an ornament.

It does get driven inbetween the fannying about that way I know what I'm not happy with and need to sort out.
I got the underside back together yesterday, prop bars bash plate etc.and a new gowesty throttle body as the previous supposedly rebuilt one was sticking just off idle and making the tps impossible to set up.
Alignment, and a good going over at brickwerks a couple of weeks ago and it's now going to get used in between weekends away in the camper.

it looks lovely

Can you fanny about with my 2wd and make it half as shiney ?

I just bought the Grill to match yours as I already had the lower SA one.

I must admit if mine was that clean I wouldn't want to get it dirty :)

Tried the van off road for the first time tonight on a local beech and ended up stuck! From what I could see from the tracks in the sand and looking down at the front wheels it looked as if they weren't spinning, how much spinning should the rears do before the vc does it's thing?

VC should kick in writhing a 1/4 turn. On dry sand this 1/4 turn can lead to trouble but on damp wet sand will not. Tire pressures and size also make a huge difference on sand as well as driving stile. Never brake on sand but role to a stop,is a mistake most people make on sand and then get stuck when trying to pull away again.

It was on dry sand but it looked like a 2wd van according to Graham, I'll need to have a look at it tomorrow. Thanks Russel.
