London Marathon Syncronaught

Postby jes*b » 08 Apr 2014, 12:13

Hello all,

Rather unbelievably I am running the London Marathon this sunday. Training has sucked up much of my free time and I am looking forward to getting on with the Panel Van and a few other projects after it is done. Last year I spent some time with my dad at the local Pilgrims Hospice and so I have thrown my energies into raising some much needed funds for them and their amazing work. Can't say its going to be easy but I am looking forward to the day. I have added a link to my just giving page below and if anyone could thrown a small contribution in that would be great. I will wave to you all from the telly. Cheers jes

With you all the way mate.

Cold therapy for tired legs afterwards? Plus Echinacea for an all-round recovery boost.

Way to hot to be doing something as silly as running 26+ miles . Still, the weather brought the crowds out. Finished in 4:18 which ain't to shappy for a vet. Thanks to all for your support - I am happy to say that as it stands the donations to Pilgrims Hospice in East Kent are just shy of three grand. Well pleased. Thanks again. Jes

I gave you a quick thought when cooking breakfast this morning and listening to the commentary on Five Live!

not too quick a thought mind, the bacon was crisping up nicely.
