Discs have turned up today, will try and fit them over the weekend.

£117 for the pair which seems fair

£117 a pair sounds bloody expensive to me, considering that SA vented discs are under £40 a pair...

Well that’s the only ones I could find that are in stock anywhere, also the cheapest’s... if you need them you need them not much I could do.

in the past i had the G60 twin pot conversion. Worked well. i went back to stock due to some fitment issues (all brand new stock) All works well, ive done a few mountain passes over the last 3-4 years with no issues as long as engine braking and sensible middle pedal use are applied :D
But the most recent set of new rear shoes had to be ground down a fair bit, basically incorrect dimensions. And now hearing front discs are almost NLA is edging me towards 312mm audi front and the bigger T4 rear disc set up. Kind a waiting on new bearing housing to be made, or for a trip to the States to get the Burley ones... will be out there this coming year.

(did trial fit the epytec 16" front adaptors for 312mm but their measurements were off, so got rid of them. Hopefully they will be better now...

It looks like the Audi A6 setup is the way to go, where's the best place to obtain the required components ?

I used the Epytec adaptors for the 312mm A6 setup on 14 inch uprights. It did need some fettling but if I recall correctly 16 inch standard or Mefro wheels will foul the calipers. I have Tolimans which do work. Also beware the TUV certificate as that is just for the material used and not the conversion.

epytec is the only place at the moment. I am tempted to get an adapter made so its correct. But it's costly.

I spotted that years ago. Very cheeky, bordering on fraudulent.

That is the Epytec kit for the 16inch uprights. You will need Porsche Cayenne calipers and carriers £££for that setup. There is a better description and more options on the Epytec site . Give Brickwerks a shout as they used to sell these kits.
