Glow plug wiring colours at fuse box

Post by jccamp »

Does anyone know the plug or wire colours for the glow relay. I’ve got dodgy connections inside the fuse box and need a quick bodge to get started.

At the glowplug relay in the black box in the engine compartment:-

L White/Red to indicator light.
T Blue/White to temperature sender on back of engine
50 Red/Black from starter trigger
85 Brown Earth
87 Big Red to glowplugs
30 Big red from strip fuse
86 Black ignition
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.

I see yours is a later van. Earlier vans had the relay in the engine compartment. I thinks it's the same relay though.
