Perhaps, we don't actually know what it showed after charging and after a rest

The van had been left a while according to the original post obviously without the battery being charged at all to be that discharged. It is hard to recover a battery to a usable capacity from 10v let alone 8.4v. I have tried de-sulphators and EDTA over the years and have never ever recovered a battery from as low as 8.4v.
You may see 11.5 - 12v after a charge and standing but there will be no capacity at all.

You guys are really great thanks for the help. Well I tried the battery but no joy.
Surprised I didn’t even hear a murmur even if it may be seized?

Will have a new pump Monday so hopefully will get sorted.

Thanks Lee

Ok so there may be one other parts that has failed.
To use the pump you press the red switch on the zig. But I also have a wheel that you turn to flow the wate
I guess it’s a microswitch ?

I wonder if it’s failed. You turn it to the right and you normally hear the pump operate,

Thanks Lee

Good news, got the pump working but unfortunately the original Devon pump switch which operates the water is shot.
It’s the type with two water hoses connected and some kind of contact switch and two wires.
It’s controlled by a wheel that you turn to the right to turn on and right to switch off. About the size of circular knob on a three way fridge.

I would think it’s original to the Devon kitchen?

Anyone know where I can get one to change out?

Thanks Lee
