Hi has anyone fitted a Single din Head unit in there van

Aren't they all single din??? If you mean the depth, that can be a problem. Non cd ones fit in fine

ive never had a problem with a CD head unit, its tight ill grant you, but if you pull the loom under the unit it should fit, provided its not some daft thing with three yards of cooling fins on the back of it

I've fitted this some time ago seems to work well (sorry very pore photos will get some better one when I get the chance and post them).

For some reason, the surround is off (don't know why).

I have had one fitted in my van for some while now. Had to fit some spacers as the depth is deep especially if it has a dvd too, although its better with spacers because it allows the screen to fold back to a better angle. Tons of wiring involved but works OK even if the sygic sat nav is a bit poor. The dab part keeps packing up back use vhf mostly.
