Analogue clock not working in dash.

Hi,

Had a look in previous posts but cannot find anything which surprises me.

I need advice how to get the old clock ticking again. Is there a common fault I. E. Resister issue?

Any help is appreciated.

The clock is connected to the 12v supply and earth via the plastic membrane pcb. It could be a faulty connection at the clock or at the edge connector. The clock itself is a quartz crystal type and not really serviceable if the circuit fails.

Failed capacitors is the usual problem for them - do a search on Brickyard I am sure that it is still documented on there somewhere. Cheap and easy fix.
