PCB Replacement Options.
HI like many of you the printed circuit ribbon for the dash lights has failed and has had it. I have had it bodged up want to get it sorted properly once and for all.
I'm no auto electrician but wondered if any of you have fitted one of these from Go Westy or Brickworks and your thoughts greatly appreciated.
MY dash is basic I dont have a clock but Brickwerks said you just don't fit the loom to where the clock sits that's all.

https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/dashboard- ... clock.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Many thanks Hammy.

Re: PCB Replacement Options.
After years of trying to get the coolant level flashing light to behave correctly and later on the generator light going off and on (faulty connection block on the PCB) I decided to fork out for the Gowesty replacement from Brickwerks. Easy to put in with the instructions and You Tube video. Well made, and works a treat and saved loads of hassle. Expensive, but in my mind worth it for hours of trying to find out what was wrong. The only criticism is that the dash light adjustment does not work with the LEDs. I replaced the clock Liquid Crystal Display at the same time.

Definitely take a look through and contact CJH. I had similar problem with my foil circuit. Got the kit from CJH, followed the instructions and soldered everything together. Put it in and worked first time. If you can solder you can do it. If not the I think CJH will put it together for you. For £30 you can’t beat it!

That's correct. But I do charge a bit extra for an assembled kit because of the time involved. A self-assembly kit is £30 delivered (first class), or a fully assembled kit, built to suit your dash, is £62.50 delivered (first class). If you can think of a use for extra LEDs on your dash, the kit does give you the option to use the LED spaces on the third row (one of which is the glow plug LED in a Diesel van). Bigbadbob's clever circuit design is also now available as an add-on board to allow a spare LED to be used as a 'low fuel' warning light.
