Re: New radio recommendations
Go with what you actually need. If you carry a few dozen CD's about then do that. If you use Spotify on your phone then get a Bluetooth or aux connected item.
What do you have in the dash at the moment?

Re: New radio recommendations
If you don't need a CD players then you can make your life easier with one of the 'mechless' head units - they are shorter and fit in the T25 dash without having to squash it in or use an adaptor to lift it away from the dash. We have a Sony DSX-A300DAB - gets 6music on DAB and uses the iphone the rest of the time. Job done.

I've just installed a Pioneer MVH-S100UI.
A few weeks ago halfords had them for £40 but I found someone on ebay selling a new one for £25.
Great stereo if you don't want cd drive - fits in dash with plenty of room to spare. As yet not played with all features but does the job nicely.

Good find. I've got one of those Maxtecs which spends most of the time working through the frequencies trying to find a channel. I'll keep my eyes out for one of these
E D I T. Down to £29.90 on Amazon. Not great reviews but after all it is very cheap and fits

I too saw the mixed reviews out there but thought for the little money I was paying it wasn't going to matter too much. Rarely use anything but FM radio so would do the job nicely for me.
Looking at google images it looks like the later ones ahve a different heatsink design to rear so may not be an issue - plenty of room to add a bigger one if it was a concern.
The ipod side of things I'm yet to explore but I'm sure it will do the job fine.
Only downside is no BT support for handsfree etc, but thats what my passenger is for!

Re: New radio recommendations
I bought one as well. Now need to find door speakers low profile enough so that they don't foul the winder handles like the ones already fitted.

Re: New radio recommendations
I'd also recommend the Pioneer mechless units, fitted one (nice and easily) in my van a few years back and it's been faultless.

Re: New radio recommendations
Hi thanks for all the replies, didn't have a radio at all, well the front was missing. Ordered a pioneer as above so just got to join the wires, again thanks.

Re: New radio recommendations
I have this version, it's good has bluetooth and slim depth fit, which fully goes into the T25 dashboard.

Re: New radio recommendations
I was thinking about a mid 90's VW Gamma radio cassette.
Has anyone fitted one of these?
Have fitted this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Retro-Digita ... SwydRbiFgD" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Although a very good radio/cassette, and it looks really good in the dash, it has no RDS function.
This is why I am thinking VW Gamma
Any views?
