Rear Foglights

Post by chris7ian »

OK so it's about time I permanently sorted the rear right fog light on my LHD bus rather than the 'wire-soldered-to-a-bulb' number that's currently in there
I've bought a generic single bulb holder but until I take the rear light off again I don;t if this will be of any use... is there any online 'how to' do this neatly and properly other than buying a complete rhs bulb holder plate? I already have a rhs lens with the correct reflector.
Thanks

Bit confused.

I have just checked the light units from my RHD CU. Both sides have provision for a bulb, so all you need to do is put a bulb in and make sure there is a feed to the terminal on the back of the light unit and both sides should work :?: :?:

If they are Hella holders you may need one of these.

BINGO! That'd be better than the bulb holders I bought... don't suppose anyone has any spare to sell?
Once the lamp is off the bus, is it obvious where the wire should connect to the loom?

Is there a part number on the metal contact by any chance?
