Central Locking?

Post by mister scoops »

Should a 1991 Vanagon GL Westie have central locking fitted?
It feels and sounds as if I'm acting against an actuator when locking the passenger door.....

Remove one of your door cards and see if there is an actuator. My 91 Caravelle GL has C/L. Yours should have it i would have thought.

Cheers Buddy. It feels as if it should.
I want to put some sound deadening in the doors so need to pop the cards off anyway.
I'll check it out.

Spray some cavity wax down the bottom whilst you're at it. Hoover the void first and be sure to clear the drain holes after waxing.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
